Corrections and right of reply

The site aims to publish accurate, evidence-based material. If an article contains a factual error, readers may request a correction by contacting the site.
A correction request should include:
- the article concerned;
- the specific statement believed to be inaccurate; and
- any supporting information that would help verify the point.
Where a factual error is identified, the article may be corrected or updated. Updates may carry a clarification note where appropriate.
Any organisation or individual referred to in an article, including Peabody Trust, may request that their response or clarification be published. Where appropriate, such a response may be added within the article or published as a separate statement. This right of reply is offered openly: the site would rather publish a landlord's answer alongside the evidence than leave a one-sided account standing.
Correction and reply requests are reviewed in good faith. The site reserves editorial discretion over how a response is incorporated, but a genuine, on-point response from a named party will not be refused publication.
